IAGT Weather Station
IAGT has co-located a meteorological station
with our current
GPS base station. The data from
this site is currently being provided to weather
underground and to the Citizen Weather Observer Program
(CWOP)
and incorporated into the NOAA Mesonet
Map Display. In addition,
daily weather reports are being sent to our partners. To sign up
for this service, please email project manager David Carr with
"CAYUMet" in the subject line.
We are using the DAVIS
Vantage Pro 2 Weather station and will
be including data from this station into a broader sensor network.
The proposed SensorNet will include buoy data from the Finger Lakes
region, Stream Gauge data, water quality sampling data, and additional
data sources. We are providing our weather data and the virtual
weather station interface below as a free service to the community
as we develop new and unique spatial data services to a wide clientele.
