for Skyline Software Systems TerraSuite Products. Skyline
Software is a leading provider of network-based, 3D Earth visualization
software. Skyline's comprehensive platform of applications and
tools enable the fusion and delivery of complex, geospatial information
in a photo-realistic, 3D environment. This technology works on
any platform including laptops, wireless handheld devices and
in-vehicle systems; and over any type of network including intranets,
private extranets and the Internet.
 IAGT provides our clients with high quality, comprehensive training.
Our training features hands-on instruction to provide trainees
with a structured, step-by-step experience that meets specific
learning objectives. A complete set of instruction materials including
an exercise book, reference manual, and sample data are provided
to each trainee for review and continued learning. Each trainee
that successfully completes the course receives a Skyline Training
Certification.
Course Description:
TerraBuilder / TerraExplorer Pro
The TerraBuilder training gives the user a full understanding
of the software's concept and architecture. The material
covered includes all of the features in the product and their integration
for creating a complete 3D database.
The TerraExplorer Pro training is designed to provide users with
the skills necessary to annotate, customize, and distribute a 3D
visualization. The material covered includes all of the features
in the product and their integration with each other.
Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the participants will have the
skills and know-how to:
- Fully control the TerraBuilder and TerraExplorer Pro
interfaces
- Import sources of all types into TerraBuilder
- Perform geographic
re-projection of sources
- Control Terrabuilder's settings
for customization of the end product
- Perform all the source
manipulations available in TerraBuilder
- Create a complete 3D
terrain database
- Use TerraExplorer Pro to annotate and customize
the 3D environment
- Create, import and edit 2D, 3D static and
dynamic elements
- Develop predefined routes and generate movies
- Use all the
functionality available with the TerraExplorer Pro extensions,
including GPS Tracking, GIS, Point Cloud Model, and Terrain Extract
Extensions
- Apply TerraExplorer Pro tools to perform GIS
measurement and analysis functions
- Create TerraExplorer kits for
digital media/internet distribution
In addition, participants will be exposed to the entire TerraSuite
family of products and how they relate through demonstrations and
examples of each (Collaboration Tool, Programming Interface, TerraGate,
FlyGen, TerraPhoto 3D, etc.).
Software Used:
TerraBuilder and TerraExplorer Pro, including extensions (GIS,
Collaboration, GPS Tracking, Terrain Extract and Point Cloud extensions).
Prerequisites:
- Basic familiarization with Microsoft OS
- Familiarization with
geographic information basics
- No experience with Skyline's
products is required

Trainer's Site
- $2400.00 for a single trainee
- $2200.00 (each) for 3 - 5 trainees from a single client
- $2000.00 (each) for 6 - 9 trainees from a single client
- $1800.00 (each) for 10 or more trainees from a single client
Client's Site*
- $12,000.00 for up to 6 trainees
- $16,000.00 for 7 - 10 trainees
- $20,000.00 for 11 - 15 trainees
* Client provides training space, computer equipment and refreshments.

Registration:
- Training participants must be registered, with full payment
received by IAGT, one week in advance of the course.
- The course requires a minimum of six training participants.
In the event the minimum number of participants is not achieved,
IAGT reserves the right to cancel the course. The registrants
will receive a full refund of registration fees and will be encouraged
to enroll in a future course.
- Courses will be offered approximately every two months.
- Training courses at client's site available upon request.
