Welcome to the IAGT Owasco Watershed Viewer testing and evaluation site. The Viewer is a tool containing representative data sets commonly used in watershed management and land use decisions. It is designed for watershed stewards and local officials to gain a better understanding of the Owasco Watershed and some of its features. The notion is that this will lead to a more holistic view and understanding of issues affecting the health of the lake and watershed, and in turn better informed decisions can be made. In order to launch any of the visualization files offered here, you must first download the free TerraExplorer viewer. Once installed, clicking any one of the "Launch" buttons below will automatically load the selected visualization file. Please note that our current test server is limited to 10 active users at any one time. If you receive a server error message, please click the blue bar below to view our server statistics. If you are having
trouble connecting, click here to see the number of active users
on our test server.
Owasco Watershed Viewer on DVDThe Owasco Watershed Viewer is also available on DVD, free of charge, and runs without an Internet connection. Basic system requirements are:
TrainingFree training on the use of the viewer and its data is also available, and held on a regular basis.
